Talented Nigerian music artist, Dr.Jay rolls out a brand new song he tags ‘Commotion’ Enjoy!

Damilola Sandewa known widely by his stage name Dr.Jay aka Jay baby was born in Lagos Nigeria with origins from Ondo state.

He is a graduate of Biochemistry from the University of Rhode Island, he then went ahead to become one of the biggest artist across the city of Rhode Island.

He is not just limited to dropping beautiful records with other amazing upcoming artists but has been honored to work with The Headies 2022 award winner and superstar BNXN fka Buju benson.

Dr.Jay dropped his first Afrobeat song in 2020 titled “Give me Your Love”, which garnered a lot of love and affection from music lovers far and wide. He immediately followed up with a feature with BNXN on a song called Angelina.

Following these successes in 2021, He has released more amazing songs with the likes of Kele, Feeling Good, Take Me Away and an extended play titled “Love Cycle” and his most recent song Drunk & Dirty.

Dr.Jay who announced the release of his most anticipated song of 2024 “Commotion” on the 12th of January to bless the beautiful new year would like to indulge everyone out there both young and old to join me on this amazing journey as we break records.

According to Dr.Jay “Commotion” expresses the rocky moments he experienced after his breakup. Bad decisions, wrong choices and ugly mistakes he made due to my heartbreak.

In his words “If I were to change the title, I’ll probably call it “unconditional”. This is because of how vulnerable and intentional I was in the lyrics. As I heal and everyone like me out there do the same, I urge you all to stay genuine and true. Don’t change your good character because of past experiences but learn and grow from them.”
